As an independent owned business with a tradition of agronomic expertise,
Boothmans have been successfully delivering indispensable effective agronomic
services to farmers, when and where they need it, adding substantial value for
crop production since 1975.
Boothmans provide a wide range of “Agronomic Services” and “Crop Production Aids”, however they also have developed particular expertise in the areas detailed
below. Boothmans are leaders in the use of “Brimstone Rapide” as a product to reduce Common Scab in potatoes and also of “Brimstone 90” as an extremely cost-effective sulphur nutrient for arable and vegetable crops.
Boothmans are leaders in the provision of training courses to farmers,
agronomists and hand-held sprayer operators at their purpose-built training
centre in Bourne, Lincs. (see attached photograph) Courses held in the last 12
months include, NROSO Updates (including vegetable module), FACTS Update, Safe
and Effective use Rodenticides and PA1, PA2 and PA6 operator training. We have
