The Crest Group is made up of fourteen independent agronomy specialists covering
the whole of the UK and employing over seventy agronomists. The combined
turnover of Crest members is £28 million.
Whilst each Crest member operates as a separate business, all companies in the
Group work towards common goals and share ideas, experience and expertise to
provide farmers with a range of services that help tackle the key issues facing
agriculture today.
The Crest approach is based on building long-term partnership relationships with
farmers through the implementation of our Integrated Crop Management System, a
method of working that balances the need to run a profitable business with
environmental responsibility. It involves a wide range of practices developed to deal with matters such as
improving energy efficiency, reducing pollution and minimising waste.
Access to the latest developments
The Crest Group deals with all of the major crop protection companies. Through
them, we have access to the very latest crop science developments.
We are also completely abreast with bio-pesticide developments and can advise on
how these can successfully attack weeds such as Black Grass, which have become
resistant to conventional pesticides.
